An Ordinary Boy and an Extraordinary Thing
No one would forget the snow disaster which happened in 2008. What the boy has done moved everyone deeply during that time.
An elder couple whose children had left for abroad faced the awful situation where they lived without water and light. What’s more, they couldn’t go out to fetch water or buy some necessary foods because of the bad weather. The boy came to their house as soon as the water was cut off, helping them to take water and buy things. It seemed to be an easy thing to help the couple. On the contrary, he did quite difficultly. After he went off his work, he came to couple’s house which was far from the only well in the city to fetch water from. It took twice as much time as usual to fetch water, because the ground was very slippery. Once, he fetched water as usual. Unfortunately, he slipped and the water fell down to him so that he was wet as a drowned rat. Everyone was very worried about him, but he said,”I am Ok.” Then he returned to fetch water.
The days went by and he did the ordinary things in an extraordinary way. Everyone knowing about him was very proud of him.
